The Epman 2.0-inch red intercooler quick-release clamp kit creates a weld-on, double O-ring connection for custom charge-pipe systems. The 51 mm (2.0-inch) nominal tubing version uses two aluminum ferrules that must be welded to the pipe ends, while a removable locking pin secures the joint.
The outer clamp body is made from solid billet 6061 aluminum with a red anodized finish. The kit includes two weld-on ferrules, O-rings, a union sleeve and a locking pin.
When is this useful?
The pin-retained quick-release clamp creates a removable connection point in custom turbo and intercooler piping. Pulling out the locking pin releases the outer clamp body, allowing the pipe section to be separated without removing fastening bolts.

Selection & installation tips
- Pipe size: measure the actual outside diameter and test-fit the 51 mm ferrules before welding.
- Pipe material: the supplied ferrules are aluminum, so the tubing material and welding process must be suitable for aluminum fabrication.
- Seals: remove the O-rings before welding and reinstall them only after the components have fully cooled and been cleaned.
- Alignment: position both ferrules concentrically on deburred pipe ends without assembly preload before completing the welds.
- Pin access: retain enough clearance to withdraw the locking pin fully and remove the clamp body.
