Why it helps

The red turbo blanket insulates the turbine housing, keeping exhaust energy where it belongs and lowering engine-bay temperatures. Expect quicker spool, steadier performance, and less heat stress on wiring, vacuum lines and paint.

Materials & build

• Outer shell: silicone-impregnated fiberglass (abrasion & oil resistant)
• Inner liner: magnesium-silicate fabric with stainless steel reinforcement
• Fixing: stainless retaining spring + locking pins (included)

Thermal ratings

• Inner – direct heat: ~648 °C
• Inner – radiant: ~1090 °C
• Outer – direct heat: ~316 °C
• Outer – radiant: ~593 °C

Sizing guide

• T25 – small frames (GT25/28 etc.)
• T3 – mid frames (GT30/32/35 etc.)
• T4 – larger housings
• T6 – high-power large housings
• T78–T88 – extra-large race units

Note: housing dimensions vary by brand; if unsure, measure circumference and clearances around the manifold flange.

Installation

• Fit on a clean, dry housing; secure using the spring through the eyelets.
• Maintain clearances around the wastegate arm/actuator; avoid moving parts.
• After the first heat cycle, re-check tension.

Safety
