Why it helps

By insulating the turbine housing, the blanket keeps exhaust energy where it belongs and lowers under-hood temperatures. Expect quicker spool, steadier performance and less heat stress on wiring, vacuum lines and paint.

Materials & build

• Outer shell: silicone-impregnated fiberglass (abrasion & oil resistant)
• Inner liner: magnesium-silicate fabric with stainless steel reinforcement
• Fixing: stainless retaining spring + locking pins (included)

• Inner liner – direct heat: ~648 °C
• Inner liner – radiant heat: ~1090 °C
• Outer shell – direct heat: ~316 °C
• Outer shell – radiant heat: ~593 °C

Sizing guide

• T25 – small frames (GT25/28 etc.)
• T3 – mid frames (GT30/32/35 etc.)
• T4 – larger housings, mid-large power
• T6 – high-power large turbine housings
• T78–T88 – extra-large race applications

Note: housing dimensions vary by brand; if unsure, measure the housing circumference and clearance around the manifold flange.

Installation

• Fit on a clean, dry housing; route the spring through the eyelets to secure.
• Keep clearances around wastegate arm/actuator; avoid moving parts.
• After the first heat cycle, re-check tension.
