Key Features & Benefits – Sparco Grid-Q Sky QRT FIA 8855-1999 fibreglass racing seat
Sparco Grid-Q Sky QRT FIA 8855-1999 fibreglass racing seat with a waterproof vinyl cover and removable modular cushioning. Functional compatibility: it is a side-mount seat (M8, 290 mm spacing) and the 5 harness slots support 4, 5 or 6-point harnesses.
The QRT manufacturing process provides a 30% weight reduction versus traditional fibreglass manufacturing methods. The Sky version is aimed at applications where seats see rain, dust or mud, while the deep side bolsters and low-profile leg cushion help keep the legs within the shell.
When is this useful?
For off-road, open cockpit or other exposed environments, the waterproof upholstery is easier to keep clean, and the Velcro cushions let you quickly adjust support when seating position changes or multiple drivers share the car.
