Epman 2.0-Inch Blue Intercooler Quick-Release Clamp Kit with Bolt Fastening
The Epman 2.0-inch blue intercooler quick-release clamp kit includes a solid 6061 aluminum clamp, two weld-on aluminum ferrules and a double O-ring seal. Its two-bolt release supports easier pipe-section removal, while the joint permits angular, axial and radial movement to isolate vibration.
Key Features & Benefits – Epman 2.0-inch blue intercooler quick-release clamp kit
The Epman 2.0-inch blue intercooler quick-release clamp kit provides a weld-on connection with a double O-ring seal for custom charge-pipe assemblies. The 51 mm (2.0-inch) nominal pipe size identifies this version, and its two aluminum ferrules must be welded to the pipe ends.
The clamp body is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and has a blue anodized finish. The joint permits angular, axial and radial movement, helping to isolate vibrating pipe sections and reduce loads associated with a completely rigid connection.
When is this useful?
This clamp assembly is suitable for creating a removable joint in custom turbo and intercooler piping where sealing and later disassembly are important. The two-bolt release allows the clamp to be removed, while the double O-ring arrangement supports sealing and vibration isolation.

Selection & installation tips
- Pipe size: measure the actual pipe diameter and test-fit the 51 mm ferrules before welding.
- Pipe material: the supplied ferrules are aluminum, so the pipe material and welding process must be suitable for aluminum fabrication.
- O-rings: remove the O-rings from their grooves before welding and reinstall them only after the components have fully cooled and been cleaned.
- Alignment: deburr the pipe ends and align both ferrules concentrically without preload before completing the welds.
- Access: retain sufficient clearance for loosening both bolts and removing the clamp during future servicing.
Before installation, verify the actual pipe dimensions, the compatibility of the ferrules with the pipe material, the condition of the O-rings and access to both fastening bolts, then compare these points with the listed technical details.
