The Davies Craig EWP80 Alloy Flange Combo electric water pump & LCD controller (12V) is a remote-mounted coolant circulation pack with 35mm (1-3/8") inlet and outlet. It is used on naturally aspirated engines up to 2.0L as an alternative to a belt-driven mechanical water pump, or as an auxiliary pump.
The compact, lightweight aluminium pump uses 6-bolt flange connections on both inlet and outlet, with a matte black powder-coated finish. The pack includes straight and 90° 35mm push-on barb fittings, plus the LCD EWP®/Fan Digital Controller, wiring harness, temperature sensor and a 35mm inline adapter.
When is this useful?
The controller varies pump speed to match coolant temperature and can manage Thermatic® fan operation: it activates the fan at 3°C (5.4°F) above the set temperature and can run on after shutdown for three minutes or until coolant drops 10°C (14°F) below the set point.

Selection & installation tips
- Connection size: confirm the 35mm inlet/outlet and your hose I.D. for the 32–38mm fitment range.
- Flange sealing: inspect 6-bolt flange seating faces and O-ring condition before assembly.
- Inline adaptor placement: plan the 35mm inline adapter position so the temperature sensor reads in the main coolant flow.
- Electrical supply: provide a stable 12V feed with correct fuse protection and a solid ground for the pump and controller.
- Mounting & bleeding: mount the pump/controller to avoid hose stress, then bleed the cooling system after filling.
