The EBP40 Electric Booster Pump Kit (12V) is a brushless, magnetic-drive electric booster pump with 35 L/min maximum flow. As an application anchor, it suits 1000–2000cc liquid-cooled motorcycles, plus heater and LPG coolant circulation and water-to-air intercooler loops.
The pump is a recirculating design intended for closed systems similar to automotive cooling circuits and it is not self-priming, so fill and bleed the loop as part of installation. For automotive EMC, it is listed as UN ECE Regulation 10 compliant.
When is this useful?
It is useful where you want coolant flow independent of engine speed, including auxiliary heater boosting, LPG circulation, intercooler water circuits, and compact cooling loops for motorcycles, go-karts and similar applications.

Selection & installation tips
- Hose size check: match 19mm hose fitment, or plan step-adapter sizing for 12–16mm hose.
- Not self-priming: plan to fill and bleed the loop to establish flow on first start.
- Mounting & strain: use the bracket to support the pump so hose runs are relaxed and do not chafe.
- Electrical supply: use a fused feed and solid ground within the 6–15V DC operating range.
- Control approach: choose continuous running or temperature-triggered switching to suit your cooling-loop strategy.
