Key Features & Benefits – Davies Craig EBP25 Brushless Electric Booster Pump 12V Kit
The Davies Craig EBP25 Brushless Electric Booster Pump 12V Kit is a compact electric booster pump with 30 L/min maximum flow. It suits water-to-air intercooler circuits, heater boosting and LPG coolant circulation, and 500–1000cc liquid-cooled motorcycles.
The magnetic-drive brushless design runs without brush wear items and includes reverse polarity and overvoltage protection. If the pump detects no liquid, it enters idle protection within 5 seconds and automatically shuts down after 120 seconds.
When is this useful?
It is useful where circulation is needed independent of engine speed, such as intercooler water loops, auxiliary heater circuits, or systems that benefit from additional coolant movement.

Selection & installation tips
- Hose size check: match 19mm hose fitment, or plan step-adapter sizing for 12–16mm hose.
- Mounting position: choose a secure location that keeps hose runs relaxed and avoids direct radiant heat.
- Electrical protection: use a fused feed and solid ground suited to the 8–20V DC operating range.
- Control strategy: if you want run-on after shutdown, integrate a timer or thermal switch into your wiring plan.
- Priming: fill and bleed the circuit before first run, then check for leaks under operating conditions.
Before installation, verify hose size, voltage range, circuit protection and mounting space, then compare your setup to the technical specs listed above.
