Key Features & Benefits – EBP23 Electric Booster Pump 12V
The EBP23 Electric Booster Pump 12V is a brushless, magnetic-drive water pump with 23 L/min maximum flow. It suits heater boosting, LPG coolant circulation, and air-to-water intercooler loops.
Magnetic drive removes the need for a shaft seal, and the brushless motor runs without brushes as wear items. The pump provides coolant circulation independent of engine speed, supporting mechanical water pumps or Davies Craig EWP setups, and can assist engine head, block and bypass circulation.
When is this useful?
It is useful where steady circulation is needed regardless of engine speed, including heater performance support, post-shutdown circulation to reduce heat soak, and compact cooling circuits such as water-cooled motorcycles, go-karts and intercooler applications.

Selection & installation tips
- Hose size check: confirm 19mm hose fitment, or plan step-adapter sizing for 12–16mm hose.
- Power supply: design a fused feed and solid ground within the 6–18V DC operating range.
- Wiring: confirm AMP plug connection and secure the loom to prevent chafing.
- Mounting position: choose a location that keeps hose runs relaxed and avoids direct radiant heat.
- Run-on control: for post-shutdown circulation, integrate a timer or thermal switch into your control strategy.
Before installation, verify hose size, voltage range, circuit protection and mounting space, then compare your measurements and plan to the technical specs listed above.
