The front triangle repair kit for BMW E36 is well known among users of this model for its tendency to suffer from excessive corrosion. These triangles have been designed in a slightly reduced version to avoid contact with the wheel during extreme steering angles. At the same time, all original sheet metal contact points have been preserved. Depending on how the triangles are fitted, fender mounting points may end up in slightly different locations, so mounting holes must be drilled manually after installation. For installation and fitting, it is recommended to use a rubber mallet, and it is important to remove all remnants of the old triangles. Keep in mind that these cars are now over 25 years old, so the condition of individual units may vary from the factory standard.

ADDITIONALLY, the kit includes reinforcement for the front control arm bushing mount. It is highly recommended to reinforce this area before welding in the triangles.

The reinforcements are made from 1.5mm thick sheet metal.

In the case of coupe/cabrio body styles, the kit also includes an additional extension for the lower fender mount.
