Key Features & Benefits – 9 mm silicone vacuum hose, black
The 9 mm silicone vacuum hose, black is made from 100% silicone and is intended for vacuum and pressure systems. Typical uses include blow-off valve reference lines, pressure/vacuum sensors, turbo and EGR valves, plus vacuum brake boosters and HVAC systems.
It is rated for -60°C to +260°C, with a 2 mm wall thickness (±0.5 mm) and a stated maximum pressure of 3–9 bar. It is sold per running metre, so you can cut the required length for your routing.
When is this useful?
It is useful when you want a tidy, heat-resistant hose for a specific vacuum or pressure reference line, and the 9 mm ID matches your ports and fittings.
Technical specs
- Material: 100% silicone

Selection & installation tips
- Diameter check: Measure the port OD and confirm the 9 mm ID gives a secure fit on your nipples and fittings.
- Length planning: Measure the routing and leave slack for engine movement so the hose is not under tension.
- Retention: Use suitable clamps/retainers to prevent slip-off and vacuum/pressure leaks.
- Heat clearance: Avoid close proximity to very hot parts such as exhaust manifolds and turbine areas, and route with safe clearance.
- System use: Use it for vacuum and pressure lines and do not use it for liquid transport.
Before installation, verify port sizing, required length, and heat exposure around the route, then match them to the technical specs above for a correct fit.
