Key Features & Benefits – Motul RBF 600 Factory Line DOT 4 racing brake fluid, 500 ml
The Motul RBF 600 Factory Line DOT 4 racing brake fluid 500 ml is a 100% synthetic fluid for hydraulic brake and clutch systems. It is suitable for systems requiring a non-silicone synthetic brake fluid, and the 312 °C dry boiling point is a key specification for high thermal load use.
It is suitable for steel or carbon racing brakes, conventional steel disc brake systems, and conventional hydraulic clutch actuators. Along with a 205 °C wet boiling point and 1,750 mm²/s viscosity at -40 °C, the fluid also exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 requirements except for viscosity at -40 °C.
When is this useful?
This fluid is useful when the system sees sustained heat, the dry and wet boiling point is a major selection factor, or you want to keep the same DOT 4 category in both brake and clutch hydraulics.

Selection & installation tips
- DOT requirement: Check that the system requires a DOT 4 non-silicone synthetic fluid.
- Compatibility: Do not mix it with DOT 5 silicone-based or mineral LHM fluids, and avoid mixing with lower-performance polyglycol-based brake fluids.
- Surface protection: Protect painted and varnished surfaces during filling because the fluid can damage them.
- Storage: Keep the bottle tightly closed in its original container so the fluid absorbs as little moisture from the air as possible.
Before filling or replacing, verify the required DOT specification, fluid compatibility, and brake or clutch system material compatibility, then compare them with the listed details.
