The Epman Silver heat reflective tape 2 in x 5 m is designed for universal heat protection where reducing radiant heat exposure helps protect nearby components. It’s commonly used around intake pipes, turbo and intercooler piping, wiring looms, and selected hose or pipe runs.
It combines an aluminized reflective surface with fiberglass heat-resistant fabric. This is a non-adhesive tape, so installation requires the included 4 stainless fastening ties (300 mm) or another suitable high-temperature fixing method.
When is this useful?
It’s useful when a line or harness runs close to a heat source and you want a mountable, removable heat barrier on a specific section without relying on adhesive backing.

Selection & installation tips
- Surface prep: keep the protected surface clean and dry so the tape sits evenly.
- Fixing method: as a non-adhesive tape, secure it with stainless ties or another heat-rated fastener.
- Overlap: build in overlap and avoid wrinkles to prevent the wrap from opening under vibration.
- Routing: keep it away from sharp edges and abrasion points, and plan stable clearance to hot parts.
- Re-check: after heat cycles, inspect and re-tighten fasteners if needed.
