Key Features & Benefits – Brushless 8" Thermatic® Electric Fan (12V)
The Brushless 8" Thermatic® Electric Fan (12V) is suitable for radiator cooling, air-conditioning condenser cooling, transmission oil coolers and engine oil coolers. Low-profile design with 66 mm installation depth.
The brushless motor is IP68 rated and includes reversible rotation technology, allowing pusher or puller operation. Nine control modes are available, including full-speed operation, analogue speed control and PWM speed control for flexible airflow management.
When is this useful?
It fits well where space is limited but controlled airflow is needed, especially with additional coolers or condenser packaging that benefits from a compact fan and flexible speed control.

Selection & installation tips
- Clearance check: measure available space and allow for the 66 mm depth.
- Power supply: use an appropriately fused feed and solid ground for a 7 A load.
- Pusher vs puller: supplied factory-configured as a pusher; for puller use, remove and reverse the fan blade and adjust wiring per the supplied instructions.
- Rotation verification: confirm blade rotation follows the arrows on the blade before final wiring and mounting.
- Control method: choose full-speed, analogue, or PWM control and confirm PWM signal compatibility (100–1000 Hz).
Before installation, verify clearance, desired airflow direction, your 12V system voltage range and the chosen control method, then match your setup to the technical specs listed above.
